Software Engineer Intern

DuckDB is an open-source in-process analytical database management system with a vibrant developer community and users from Silicon Valley startups to Fortune 500 companies. DuckDB Labs employs the key contributors of the DuckDB project, and provides support and consultancy services for DuckDB.

As a DuckDB intern, you will be collaborating with a small team of database experts on developing the open-source DuckDB project.

This internship requires that you live in or are willing to relocate to the Netherlands. It has a duration of six months, with a flexible starting date in the second half of 2025. Requirements:

• Valid working permit in the Netherlands for the duration of the internship
• Strong experience in the C++ programming language
• Experience with database systems and SQL
• Knowledge of code versioning tools, in particular Git / GitHub
• Strong communication skills in English
